Hidden Objects
A crowded jumble of pictures with a key strip of things to hunt down.
A dense scene of overlapping pictures, tipped and resized so nothing looks the same twice, with a key strip along the bottom showing what to search for. Every target is guaranteed to stay at least two-thirds visible, so the hunt is hard but never unfair. Turn the counts on in the key and a picture can hide two or three times over, which is the version that keeps older children busy longest.
