Counting Money
Coins and notes to count, amounts to make, prices to add up and change to work out.
Money pages in euros, pounds, dollars or reais, following the book's language unless you choose. Count a handful of coins and notes and write the total; make an amount out of the fewest coins and notes; add up two prices at the shop; or work out the change from a coin or a note. Choose small coins only (cents, pence, centavos), whole euros or pounds with coins and notes, or everything together. Coins are drawn as clean line art rather than copies of the real ones: a disc with its value across it, sized like the real coin, with a milled rim, an inner ring or a two-metal centre to tell them apart, and the British 20p and 50p really seven-sided. Notes are rectangles with their value and the currency's sign. Amounts are written the way the book's language writes them, and worked out in whole cents so the answer key is always exact.
