Domino Match
A domino chain with halves missing, or a set to cut out and match by dots.
Two domino puzzles from one page. The chain lays dominoes end to end the way they are played, then rubs out some halves: because touching ends always match, every gap can be filled by looking at the tile next to it, which is a first taste of using a rule to work something out rather than being told. The cut-out sheet prints dominoes to snip and a set of boxes to match them to, either by the total of the dots or by the two numbers written as digits, and doubles as a set of tiles to keep and play with.
