Arithmetic Worksheet
Rows of sums to work out: adding, taking away, times or sharing, laid out flat or in columns.
A straightforward practice sheet. Pick an operation, a number range and how many questions, and the page fills with sums. Horizontal layout puts them in neat columns across the page for quick mental work. Column layout stacks each sum with the digits lined up and leaves a space under the rule to work in — the layout children are taught to write sums in, and the one where carrying and borrowing actually happen. Turning carrying off keeps every column under ten, so a child practising the method is not also fighting the numbers. Division is always exact: no remainders, ever.
