Colour by Maths
Work out each sum, look up the answer in the key, and a hidden picture appears.
A grid of sums laid over a secret picture. Each answer belongs to one colour, so a child who works carefully colours a mosaic of the picture without ever being told what it is. Every cell is a fresh sum, which means one page gives fifty to two hundred pieces of practice at exactly the level you choose: adding, taking away, multiplying, or a mix. Fewer colours and a coarser grid make a short page for a five year old; six colours and a fine grid make a long, quiet one for a nine year old.
