Decimals
Tenths and hundredths: hundred grids, number lines, compare and order, fractions, × and ÷ by 10, 100 and 1000.
Decimals the way they are first taught. Shade a hundred square or a strip of tenths and write it as a fraction and as a decimal, or read one back; fill in the missing tenths and hundredths on number lines; compare two decimals with <, > or = (0.7 against 0.65, 3.09 against 3.1); put sets of decimals in order; turn decimal fractions into decimals and back (7/10 = 0.7, 0.23 = 23/100); and multiply and divide by 10, 100 and 1000. The decimal mark and the operation signs are the book language's.
