Alphabet Order

Number words or pictures into alphabet order, fill the gaps in a run of letters, or join capitals to small letters.

Four related pages from one generator. Letter gaps prints a run of the book's alphabet with letters missing and a box for each one, which is the earliest version of the skill, and capitals and small letters asks the child to join each capital to its small letter. Pictures prints things to name and number into order, so the child has to find the first letter before they can use it. Words prints the words themselves, which is the dictionary skill proper, in the order a dictionary in the book's language uses: ñ after n in Spanish, ä with a in German. Words and pictures are picked to start with different letters wherever the bank has enough of them; type your own list to make the harder page on purpose. A faint alphabet line prints along the bottom to check against.
