Find the Letter
Ring every b among the d, p and q: a field of look-alike letters, syllables or words.
A page of letters where the child rings every one that matches the box at the top. The other letters are the ones children really confuse — b, d, p and q; m, n and u; a, o and e — so it is a looking exercise rather than a lucky guess. Up to three targets at once: each gets a circle to colour, so the child rings each one in its own colour, and a box to write how many they found. Targets can be letters (including ç, ñ and accented vowels), digraphs such as ch or lh, syllables such as ma, or short words. Print, the book language's school cursive, or capitals only.
