Word Scramble
Muddled-up words to unscramble, with a picture or a clue to help and a blank for every letter.
Each line shows one word with its letters shuffled and a blank for every letter to write the answer on, so the shape of the answer is a clue in itself. A picture, a written clue, both or neither can be printed alongside — pictures suit children who are still learning to read, clues suit children who are not. Difficulty is genuinely different work rather than a longer word list: the gentle setting only swaps letters with their neighbours so the word still half-reads, and the hardest setting picks the shuffle that moves every letter as far as it can from where it started. A word is never left accidentally unscrambled.
